Research question

How is monitored PM2.5 distributed across India, and where is the network sparse?

Objective

Translate discrete station readings into an interpolated heat surface and a clean, legible reference map.

Data
Methodology / Workflow
  1. 1

Cleaned and geocoded the station table; removed duplicate and offline sensors.

  2. 2

Ran kernel density with a search radius tuned to mean station spacing.

  3. 3

Designed a sequential colour ramp and full marginalia for print output.
